This policy explains how we handle personal data on this website and when you email us. It does not cover the Muninn app, which runs on your computer without sending us email, contacts or app usage data.
Data controller

Visiting the website
The website has no advertising. Visitor statistics are counted with Matomo Cloud (Aeon Media, Sweden) without cookies and without following you between websites; your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting is respected. The website’s language cookie, muninn_lang, is set only if you choose a language yourself and contains nothing but the language code (kept for a year). Visitors from Sweden see Swedish; Vercel determines the country from the IP address, and we do not store it. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or identifying you across websites. Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., processes technical data, such as IP addresses in server logs, to serve the website and protect it from abuse.
When you email us
If you write to support@muninnmail.app, we process your email address and whatever you tell us.
- Purpose: to answer your question and, if you buy Muninn, to help with the purchase and your licence.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR article 6.1 f), and the contract if you are a customer (article 6.1 b).
- Retention: while the matter is open and then for at most 24 months, unless we are required to keep it longer.
- Emails we send: only replies to your own message and, after a purchase, the licence key that belongs to it. We send no newsletters or marketing.
Purchases are handled by our reseller, which is responsible for payment, VAT and the receipt.
When you open checkout
The buy button loads Paddle.js when you click. Paddle is our reseller and handles personal and payment information in checkout, and any cookies needed there, under Paddle’s privacy policy. Loading the script gives Paddle technical information from your browser; no email data from the Muninn app is sent to checkout.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
Changes
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top.
