These terms apply when you buy and use Muninn – Mailer Agent (“Muninn”). Muninn is developed by Ideal Vision AB (company reg. no. 559152-3385, changing its name to Ideal Vision Group AB), Gussarvsgatan 11, 776 30 Hedemora, Sweden (“we”).
Reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, issues the receipt, is responsible for VAT and other sales taxes, and handles payment and refund queries. Your purchase is also covered by Paddle’s buyer terms.
The licence
After payment you receive a licence key. It lets you use Muninn with no time limit, as follows:
- The licence covers one person. You may install Muninn on one computer or server and connect your own clients to it. The number of email accounts is unlimited.
- You may use Muninn in your own business, including several companies that you run yourself.
- You may not sell, rent out or share the licence key, or circumvent the licence check.
- You may not decompile or reverse engineer the software, except to the extent the law expressly allows.
Muninn includes open-source components. They are covered by their own licences, which ship with the software.
Free demo mode
You can download Muninn free and try every feature with a fictional mailbox. Your own email accounts require an activated licence.
Price
The licence costs USD 99 / EUR 99 / SEK 999 and includes a year of updates and support. Optional renewal costs USD 49 / EUR 49 / SEK 499 per year. Prices exclude tax; Paddle shows the currency and final price at checkout.
Updates and support
Your purchase includes new versions and email support for one year from the date of purchase. After that, the versions you are entitled to keep working with no time limit. You can renew updates and support one year at a time, at the price in effect when you renew.
Support is given in English and Swedish at support@muninnmail.app. We normally reply within two working days.
AI providers and email accounts
Muninn works with your own email accounts and the AI provider you choose. That provider’s terms, prices and privacy commitments apply between you and the provider. We do not sell an AI service and do not receive your mail. Muninn shows whether a provider commits to keeping no data, but we are not responsible for how the provider keeps that commitment.
Your responsibility
Email that Muninn sends goes from your accounts in your name. The agent proposes actions and messages, and you approve them before they happen. Review the proposals before you approve them. You are responsible for making sure your messages comply with the law, for example rules on marketing and personal data. Back up your data regularly.
Privacy
Muninn runs on your computer or server. Your mail, your contacts and information about how you use the software are not sent to us. Licence activation and certificate refresh use the licence server with a licence ID, a random installation ID and the app version; no email data is included. If you turn on update checks, Muninn only downloads a list of versions, with no information about you or your mail. See also our privacy policy.
Limitation of liability
We do our best to make Muninn work well and safely, but the software is provided as is. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost data. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence and does not restrict the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
The licence key is delivered right after purchase. If you are a consumer in the EU, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately, and your right of withdrawal for digital content then ends once the key has been delivered. Because demo mode lets you try every feature before buying, we generally do not refund purchases; see refunds. Your rights under mandatory law are not affected.
Changes
We may change these terms. The terms in effect when you bought apply to that purchase. Changes affecting renewals are announced on this website before they take effect.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. We first try to resolve any issue directly with you. If you are a consumer, you may also turn to the consumer dispute body or courts in the country where you live.
